Job Description

The Enterprise Account Executive is responsible for driving new business growth within the transportation industry and expanding revenue across strategic enterprise-level accounts. This role focuses on identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities while fostering long-term client relationships to ensure continued revenue expansion. The ideal candidate brings proven success in transportation-sector business development and excels in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, target, and secure new enterprise accounts within the transportation industry.
  • Develop strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and accelerate market expansion.
  • Conduct in-person client meetings, solution presentations, and field visits (up to 50% travel required).
  • Build and maintain strong executive-level relationships to ensure long-term customer satisfaction and account growth.
  • Manage the full sales cycle-from prospecting and qualification to contract negotiation and closing.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, customer success, and product teams to deliver tailored client solutions.
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline reporting, and activity documentation.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client engagements to build brand presence and market awareness.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Proven experience in new business development within the transportation industry.
  • Demonstrated success meeting or exceeding enterprise-level sales targets.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage complex sales cycles, and navigate large organizational structures.
  • Willingness to travel 50% for client meetings, site visits, and industry events.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience selling SaaS, logistics solutions, fleet technologies, or operational platforms is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of transportation operations, market trends, and buyer decision cycles.
  • CRM proficiency (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
